Advanced Planning & Scheduling Consultant

Responsibilities

• Implement Quintiq software for our customers in collaboration with our partners.
• Discuss optimization solutions with management as well as planners.
• Analyse and interpret business processes, discover optimization potential, define the solution and communicate it to Quintiq Specialist as well as the customer.
• Enjoy advanced planning and scheduling, developing Industry Solutions, solving algorithms.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Artificial Intelligence with a strong IT-influenced background
• Strong software development background using Java, C++ or similar object-oriented, linear programming, genetic algorithms platforms
• A flair for solving complex logical puzzles and affinity with ERP systems
• Strong communicative skills, especially in an environment of top professionals
• A passion for visionary Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions and algorithms that contribute to achieving customer satisfaction at 100%

Job Requirements

Note :

This is a Dutch company, but has offices worldwide and the one and only Global Development Centre in KL (Petaling Jaya to be exact, suburb KL). The office is very Google-office like. It’s located in the 2 floor penthouse of a very nice building office, has 5 big common pantries with free snacks and drinks available, many common room equipped with Wii, pool table, etc.

A very flat organization (typical Dutch), so not really top bottom organization, people are easy to work with, very knowledgeable people.

In case of further steps of recruitment, they might invite you to KL for final round of interview and most likely flight and hotel will be arranged. The organization is extensively expanding, they’re hiring 100more consultants this year.
