Research is a core pillar of the Cyber Security Program at BINUS University, where students and faculty actively contribute to advancing cybersecurity knowledge and developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Our students have gained international recognition by showcasing their research and security tools at the Black Hat Arsenal program in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Through these prestigious exhibitions, students present self-developed tools to the global cybersecurity community, demonstrating both technical expertise and innovative research capabilities.

In addition to tool development, students and faculty regularly conduct research in various cybersecurity domains, including offensive security, malware analysis, digital forensics, threat intelligence, artificial intelligence for cybersecurity, and secure software development. Their work has been published in reputable international conferences and peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the advancement of cybersecurity research both nationally and globally.

By integrating research with practical innovation, the Cyber Security Program empowers students to become not only skilled practitioners but also researchers and innovators who make meaningful contributions to the global cybersecurity community.
