The 10th International Conference on Computer Science and Computational Intelligence (ICCSCI) 2025

The opening ceremony marked the formal start of the conference, highlighted by a series of opening speeches from key figures. The Chairman of ICCSCI 2025 delivered the first address, emphasizing the conference’s role in advancing computer science research and collaboration. This was followed by remarks from the Dean of the School of Computer Science at BINUS University and the Rector of BINUS University, who underscored the importance of innovation, global collaboration, and the strategic role of technology in shaping sustainable development.

Adding a cultural touch to the ceremony, the Paramabira performance captivated the audience before transitioning into the keynote sessions. The first keynote was delivered by Prof. Eko Sediyono, who discussed the challenges of conducting research in Indonesia and highlighted the vast potential of artificial intelligence in supporting sustainable development. The session continued with Prof. Mhd. Reza M. I. Pulungan, who presented deep reinforcement learning–based power management systems for high-performance computing clusters. A lively Q&A session reflected strong audience engagement.

After a short coffee break, the conference resumed with an insightful keynote by Prof. Peter Rossmanith on online algorithms with predictions. The morning keynote sessions concluded with Prof. Derwin Suhartono’s presentation exploring sarcasm as a linguistic and cognitive phenomenon, highlighting the relationship between language and artificial intelligence.

The afternoon was dedicated to academic exchange through parallel sessions and student poster presentations. The first day concluded with a closing session summarizing key insights and setting expectations for the following day.

Day two began with participant re-registration and continued with parallel sessions, fostering in-depth discussions and knowledge sharing. The conference concluded with an “AI for Healthcare” training session led by Dr. Nur Afny Catur Andryani and an awarding ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions.

The two-day conference reinforced ICCSCI’s commitment to advancing research, innovation, and collaboration in computer science, leaving participants with valuable insights and strengthened professional networks.

The 9th ICCSCI 2024 — Bali, Indonesia

The 9th ICCSCI was held at The Stones Hotel, Legian Bali on August 28–29, 2024. The event opened with the Gadung Kasturi Dance performed by Universitas Ngurah Rai students, followed by the singing of Indonesia Raya and the BINUS Indo-Pacific Forum opening ceremony.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by BINUS leaders and international partners, emphasizing global collaboration and digital transformation. The conference featured distinguished keynote speakers from academia, government, and industry across Asia-Pacific.

ICCSCI 2024 achieved a record acceptance rate of 23% from 474 submissions, with participants from multiple countries including the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.

The conference concluded with awards for Best Paper and Best Presenters, celebrating outstanding research contributions and reinforcing ICCSCI’s role as a premier international forum for computer science and computational intelligence.
