School of Computer Science BINUS Gelar Sesi Knowledge Sharing bersama Swinburne University of Technology
Sebagai bagian dari rangkaian Knowledge Sharing for Lecturer yang terus berlangsung, School of Computer Science BINUS University menyambut kunjungan tamu dari Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak, pada hari Jumat, 20 Juni 2025. Sesi dibuka dengan pemaparan dari Associate Professor Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo, selaku Direktur Centre for Digital Futures, yang memperkenalkan fokus strategis pusat riset tersebut serta perannya dalam mendorong penelitian digital lintas disiplin. Acara dilanjutkan dengan presentasi dari para peneliti Swinburne yang memaparkan riset-riset terkini di berbagai bidang.
Dr. Brian Loh Chung Shiong membahas penelitiannya di bidang Digital Health, dengan menyoroti bagaimana teknologi berperan dalam meningkatkan sistem layanan kesehatan dan hasil perawatan pasien. Dr. Vong Wan Tze menyampaikan risetnya di bidang Data Science, termasuk penerapan model berbasis data untuk menyelesaikan tantangan dunia nyata. Sementara itu, Ts. Dr. Lee Sue Han mempresentasikan riset di bidang pertanian, dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mendukung keberlanjutan dan produktivitas. Dr. Joel Than Chia Ming turut memperkenalkan proyek-proyeknya di bidang Financial Technology (FinTech), serta bagaimana inovasi digital dapat mentransformasi layanan keuangan.
Sebagai penutup, Ts. Associate Professor Dr. Miko Chang May Lee, selaku Head of School – ICT, menyampaikan informasi mengenai peluang studi doktoral (PhD) dan skema pendanaan kolaborasi riset yang tersedia di Swinburne Sarawak. Sesi ini tidak hanya memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang kegiatan riset multidisiplin di Swinburne, tetapi juga membuka ruang dialog bermakna untuk menjajaki potensi kolaborasi riset antara BINUS University dan Swinburne di masa mendatang.
As part of its ongoing Knowledge Sharing for Lecturer series, the School of Computer Science at BINUS University welcomed guests from Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak on Friday, June 20th, 2025. The session began with an introduction by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo, Director of the Centre for Digital Futures, who shared the center’s strategic focus and its role in advancing interdisciplinary digital research. The event continued with presentations from Swinburne researchers, each highlighting their current work.

This engaging session not only offered a window into the university’s diverse research activities but also sparked meaningful dialogue on future collaboration between BINUS and Swinburne.
