Author Guidelines
A. Manuscript Preparation
Before submitting your manuscript to ICoDiT 2026, please ensure that it fully complies with the conference guidelines. All submitted manuscripts must adhere to the following requirements:
- Manuscript Format (IMRaD)
Prepare your manuscript using the IMRaD structure: Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion. Each section should clearly reflect its respective part in the IMRaD format. - Conference Template
Manuscripts must be written using the official conference template. Follow all formatting instructions carefully. The template can be downloaded [here]. - Page Limit
Manuscripts should be 4–8 pages long. While the number of pages will not affect the peer review process, note that if your paper is accepted, additional pages beyond the first 8 will incur extra charges. - Relevance to Conference Theme
Ensure that your manuscript aligns with the conference theme and topics. All submissions must focus on the computer science domain. Papers that discuss IT merely as a tool in other fields will be rejected. Refer to the Conference Scope of Topics for detailed information. - Double-Blind Review
To maintain double-blind peer review, do not include any author information in the manuscript. This includes names, email addresses, and affiliations. If the manuscript mentions the authors’ affiliation as part of the research location, replace it with “XXX” for the review process (applies only to specific institutions, e.g., “Bina Nusantara University”). General geographic markers such as cities may remain. - Generative AI Policy
The use of generative AI tools for manuscript writing is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts must be free from content produced by AI tools, except for research whose primary focus is generative AI. - Similarity / Plagiarism Check
The similarity index of your manuscript should not exceed 20%. This threshold excludes references, headers, and footers from the template. - References
Ensure your manuscript includes an adequate number of references. At least 60% of references should come from valid, reputable sources such as journals, conference proceedings, books, or official datasets.
B. Review Process
To ensure transparency, accountability, and high-quality submissions, ICoDiT 2026 implements the following review process:
- Two-Phase Review
Each manuscript undergoes two review phases:- Desk Evaluation – Manuscripts are checked for compliance with the conference topics and formatting guidelines, as well as for similarity and AI-generated content using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% or AI-generated content probability over 50% will be rejected and will not proceed to peer review.
- Peer Review – Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Reviewers assess the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of the paper.
- Decision Notification
All authors will be informed of the review results on the scheduled notification date, including decisions made at the desk evaluation stage. - Revisions for Accepted Papers
Accepted manuscripts must be revised to comply with the conference template and incorporate reviewers’ suggestions (if any). Revisions must be submitted before the final paper submission deadline. Failure to submit the revised manuscript may result in the retraction of acceptance. - Final Submission and Publication Preparation
After the final submission, manuscripts will be prepared for publication. During this stage, the Track Director may contact authors to request minor adjustments. If no changes are requested, the manuscript will be edited and finalized by the Track Director for publication.
