Benfano Soewito is the twenty-fourth Permanent Professor inaugurated by BINUS University. Benfano Soewito completed his bachelor degree in the Faculty of Science and Technology department of Physics, Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia.
He completed his master degree in the field of Computer Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Southern Illinois University, United States of America (USA) in 2004 and finished his doctoral degree in 2009 at the same faculty and university.
While completing his master and doctoral degree, he also worked as an assistant professor, research assistant, support computer specialist, and developed several websites inside the environment of Southern Illinois University, USA.
He became full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science Bakrie University, Jakarta and was appointed as the Head of Informatics Engineering Studies Program in 2010 – 2013. Since June 2013 until now, he is a lecturer at Master of Computer Science, Bina Nusantara University.
