Brief Bio
Derwin Suhartono is a Full Professor and the Dean of the School of Computer Science at Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University. With over 15 years of experience in academia, he specializes in Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Personality Computation. As an educator, he has mentored hundreds of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, inspiring them to explore innovative solutions in AI. A pioneer in the integration of AI and psychology, Derwin’s research focuses on leveraging NLP for personality analysis and psychoinformatics. His work bridges computational advancements with real-world human applications, addressing challenges in understanding behavior and personalizing digital interactions. He is also actively pursuing collaborations with industry partners to translate research into impactful solutions. Derwin is deeply passionate about advancing education and fostering a culture of innovation. He actively engages in developing impactful learning experiences, building interdisciplinary collaborations, and empowering the next generation of AI professionals to drive meaningful societal and industrial change.

Brief Bio
Widodo Budiharto is an internationally acclaimed expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics, currently serving as a Professor at BINUS University, Jakarta, Indonesia. In 2024, he was named among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier. He leads the Center of Excellence for Humanitarian AI and Technology at BINUS University, driving research in robotics, deep learning, drones, GIS mapping, computer vision, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. Widodo has published over 200 Scopus-indexed papers, authored 49 books, and holds an h-index of 36. His innovations include the brain-controlled wheelchair “Ratanggalih,” the educational robot “BIMAX,” and several COVID-19 response robots, demonstrating the practical impact of AI in real-world applications. He has received numerous international grants and fellowships, including the Visiting Professor Grant at Hosei University, Japan, and the FICEM Erasmus Mundus Grant at Université de Lorraine, France. Widodo continues to advance AI research, foster collaboration between academia and industry, and inspire the next generation of intelligent systems researchers.
