GE Garage
Dear Colleagues,
Brought to you for the first time in ASEAN, GE’s Garage is a collaborative learning event, with the ultimate goal to introduce the latest technology that will change the future of industry, and drive the spirit of innovation amongst the next generation. With the incoming era of Industrial Internet shaped by the past revolutions–Industrial Revolution (Big Iron) and Internet Revolution (Big Data), GE sees rapid changes on technology development that no longer only happens at research institutes, but is now widely adopted by startups and various youth communities. That’s what GE calls open innovation. For instance, 3D printing technology used in GE’s manufacturing processes is now widely used by startups – one of them even came from Salatiga, Central Java.
Programs have included custom projects, curated speaker sessions and workshop amidst a fully equipped lab, including hardware such as CNC mills, laser cutters, 3D printers, Arduino kits and much more. At GE’s Garages, participants will work with technical experts and partners to learn more about advanced manufacturing processes, and bring their wildest ideas to life.
We have brought GE’s Garage to Indonesia for the first time ever and we have the pleasure to invite you and your family and friends to join us at the Garage and see how technology is about to change the future of manufacturing.
GE’s Garage will be held on:
