PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI SOSIAL MEDIA KULINER GRAPE DENGAN TEKNOLOGI RESTFUL PADA SMARTPHONE BERBASIS ANDROID

According to Cheng’s (2013) Location Based Social Mobile Application for Food, most of people are interested to get every single restaurant menu information without visiting the restaurant which proves that applications can give information about restaurants without the need of attendance. Research purposes are to develop an application which provides information about restaurants, redeem voucher by trading points to get promotions and also promotion media for restaurants. Research methods are divided into data collection method (questionnaire analysis, similar applications analysis, interview and case study) and development method. The research result is to implements culinary social media application to Android based smartphone which provides information about restaurants, redeem voucher by trading points to get promotions and also promotion media for restaurants which also using REST web service for user and server information exchanges. Knots of this research are to provide users the information about restaurants, promotions, and redeem voucher, to create a promotion media for restaurants and also to introduce and promote restaurants online.
