PERANCANGAN APLIKASI PENUNJANG IBU HAMIL “PREGNANT CARE” BERBASIS ANDROID

ABSTRACT

Nowadays, technology development includes every aspect of human’s life. One of the aspect is obstetrics, take example on four-dimension ultrasonography (USG) to support pregnancy. People need to take really care of pregnancy, but not all pregnant woman can take care of it really well because they have a lot of activity, whether as a career women or housewives. Therefore, this research of “Pregnant Care” application development is being done to make a personal assistant to organize pregnant woman’s schedule and provide informations about pregnancy. Pregnant Care is a mobile application base on android to assist pregnant woman in busy schedules. It is developed using Extreme Programming method (XP). XP has four steps. The first one is planning, which is collecting data from analyzing similar application, questionnaire, and interviewing obstetrician. The next step is designing the application. The third step is coding, we use Eclipse and SDK Android to develop this application. The last step is testing the application by pregnant women. We hope this research can help pregnant women to organize and access information for their pregnancy.
