Pada tanggal 24 Mei 2014, jurusan Mobile Application Technology – SoCS mengadakan acara Mobile Gathering yang bertempat di Lounge lantai 8, Kampus Anggrek, BINUS University.

Acara ini dihadiri oleh mahasiswa MAT, Irwanto ( alumni BINUS University dan developer ) perkumpulan guru TIK se Jakarta, dan siswa-siswa SMA yang ingin mengetahui perkembangan teknologi aplikasi mobile. Acara dimulai pada pukul 13.00 dan berakhir pada pukul 15.30. Pembicara pada acara ini adalah Bapak Alfred Budiman ( Vice President Samsung R&D ), Ibu Silvia Adriani ( Senior Manager Developer Alliances vserv.mobi, Bapak Afan G Salman ( HoP MAT ), dan Bapak Fredy Purnomo ( Head of School of SoCS ).
