Department Description : Oracle Advance Customer Services (ACS) is part of Oracle Support Line of Business that focus on the delivering Oracle solution implementation, such as Oracle database, WebLogic app, server, storage, tape library, cluster system, system monitoring, operating system security hardening, system performance assessment, custom Oracle support for software and system.
Brief Posting Description : As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our products.
Detailed Description : You will interface with the customer’s IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client’s site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You will be assisted and guided by other senior member of the team.
Job Requirements : Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers and with other Oracle engineer as a team is a must, good communication skills, while consistently achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (with min GPA 3.0, scale 4.0) or equivalent experience is preferred with 0 to 2 years related experience. Experience with Oracle’s core products (such as Oracle DB, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Solaris), applications, and tools is an advantages.
