Analisis dan perancangan aplikasi basis data media sosial berbasis web untuk berbagi resep makanan

This research is motivated by the rapid development of the culinary world in Indonesia and the recipes are very necessary to simplify the cooking process. This collection of recipes is currently available in the print media, causing difficulties in the search for food recipe collection. Therefore, a web-based application to share recipes will help residents of Indonesia to search recipes without having to buy it manually. The aim of the research is to design a web-based database application that can be for the culinary world of social media in Indonesia. This research method using a Database System Development Life Cycle as a guide for designing a database, for analysis of user needs to use interviews and questionnaires, and web application design that follows eight golden rules. There are three stages to design the database is a database conceptual design, logical database design, and physical design database. By following this study, obtained the non-redundant database, interactive web applications that can meet the needs of users in the culinary field.
