The fight system for this game is a bit weird, the controls for it sometimes a bit clunky but still playable. First, you have to lock onto an enemy, then attack by clicking a button while swim straight to them. In battle, when you can avoid an enemy attack, you get a bonus damage. You can stack you bonus damage up to 5 times. When you attack, get attacked, or wait for too long, the bonus damage disappear.
The game also has health bar, where it can be depleted when attacked by enemies. Your health can be restored by eating a fish, or defeating an enemy. There is also stamina bar, when you can use it for your skill of each different playable dinosaur. Stamina bar can be restored by resting or do nothing. There is also Oxygen bar where if you stay in the water for too long, it will be depleted and deplete your health bar. Swim into the surface to restore them. There is also depth range for each dinosaurs, where if you swim too deep, a prompt will show up “Too Deep” and deplete all three bars faster. Don’t swim too deep.
OVERALL
The game itself is only for educational purpose, so the fun factor for this game is not that high. The controls are weird for first timers, but can be adapted. The game is more focused on Singleplayer, there is a Multiplayer menu, but only limited to a race game. The game was received poorly for some people, but for Dinosaurs lovers, it’s pretty enjoyable.
