Mobile Technology Development Program
The development of mobile technology today has made it easier for users to carry out their activities anywhere and anytime. We can see and feel more and more innovations developed by these mobile app developers.
HMS (HUAWEI Mobile Services) is an application and service from Huawei for the device ecosystem that is considered to provide a smarter, faster, and smoother experience to all users around the world. To create a rich ecosystem and attract developers to work, one of the ways HUAWEI does is to invite the best developers in Southeast Asia, including in Indonesia, to create works through their best ideas at the Huawei Apps Up 2022 activity.
Huawei Apps UP is a global competition organized by Huawei with the aim of inspiring developers to develop innovative applications and integrate with HMS Core.
Under the Mobile Technology Development Program, BINUS SoCS and Huawei India have organized training, certification, and hackathon on mobile applications. The event was held on February 19, 2022. The total number of students who took part in this activity was 802, and there are 287 students who have successfully certified. And this activity was successful in finding 3 winners among the 10 best teams in the development of application innovation. They have successfully presented the application they have made in front of the judges and managed to win prizes.
The Kraepelin Mobile application by three creative students, Kevin Nathanael, Brian Karnadi and Ricky, won the contest. This Kraepelin application is a simple game-based application, where users can hone quick-thinking skills with various levels and can be used to test IQ tests (this game is based on the Kraepelin test). The application can help to identify potential candidates in a company.
The second, the Climber ID Application by M. Alif Nadhirrahman, with this application user can find out information related to what preparations are needed, information on climbing locations, tips and climbing tricks, and other interesting features.
And the last one is the BMovie App by Dionisius, Gregoria, and Fachrurrozi . User can easily select their favorite movies and create a list of movies so that they can be watched again.
Not only the three applications above, but other applications are also no less interesting that are nominated the 10 best applications, they are Add and Add, HMart, Picstar, MovieAlley, Vacazion , Gadget Check, and Wiktionary. It is hoped that collaborative activities like this can increase innovation and ideas from students to continue to be productive in developing an innovation.
